Last week our founding Partner, Martyn Pattie had the pleasure of meeting Karen Dixon, Corporate Coordinator for the Essex Wildlife Trust. MP Architects LLP has been a member of the Essex Wildlife Trust for over 27 years, so it was a real pleasure to meet Karen at our Ongar practice and to be presented with our new Silver membership.
The Essex Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity, committed to protecting wildlife and inspiring a lifelong love of nature. Founded in 1959 by volunteers, they protect over 8,400 acres of land across 87 sites and are supported by 39,000 members.
It is no secret that the increase in housing is proven to have a powerful effect on the natural habitats of our wildlife. The local environment and its ecosystems play a very important role in our work at MP Architects LLP when designing homes. Our 27-year relationship with Essex Wildlife Trust supports our ethos to recognise the importance of including design options that enhance habitats and ecosystems in response to the demand for biodiversity, sustaining and increasing natural wildlife.
The MP Architects LLP team continues to be committed to educating ourselves on the necessity to protect local wildlife and include future-proofed biodiversity measures for the longevity of a healthy and thriving Essex wildlife.
Protecting the future of tomorrow together.
