Bungalow Extension – Permitted Development

Permitted Development rules allow for upward extensions without the need for planning permission.

Most bungalows are nearly always detached; often sitting on large plots with the potential to benefit from Permitted Development.

We attended a site visit to discuss the build possibilities for a small, single-story bungalow in Essex with a medium-sized roof and large outdoor area.

This was the perfect property with the potential to renovate and extend under recent permitted development rules.

Our talented team of RIBA Accredited Chartered Architects delighted the Homeowners with a fantastic design.  We proposed to extend the bungalow for a better ground floor internal flow with several large extensions that included a further 4 bedrooms upstairs.

The design not only added incredible value and space to their home, but it was also all approved under Permitted Development.

We were delighted to make Permitted Development rules work for our client and we are excited to see the finished project.
